Living & outdoors
Featuring period high ceilings and unique architectural features, and is surrounded by well-establish gardens, Hanami Place has many nooks and spaces to discover, both inside and out.
The property is 2000sqm (a double standard block) and set high off the street providing privacy from all sides.
Verandahs wrap around two sides of the house, the west-facing is a great spot for sunsets, and the northern-facing is great for winter warmth. Or just sit in the gardens; a great space to relax and take in the wonders of nature.
Living & sleeping rooms
The ‘Golden’ room
Set into unique but private bay windows, the master bedroom features a queen sized ‘Jimmy possum’ bed and large built in wardrobes.
The library is a sun-drenched space to relax and read with a double futon sofa bed for extra guests or a private space for the kids located the opposite side of the house to the main bedrooms.
A double futon sofa bed (with mattress topper for extra comfort) allows the studio to be a 4th bedroom or used as space for creative pursuits, with a clear view of the local mountain range for all-day inspiration.
Hard to capture in one photo (click on the carousel above for more images) the living room is huge at 5m x 8m. It features wooden floorboards, high ceilings with picture rails and a bay window looking west for perfect sunset viewing. An oversized wood combustion fire keeps the winter months snug and warm.
Located at the back of the house facing east, the kitchen has a view onto the back garden and is large enough for comfortable dining. A north-facing sunroom is an alternative eating spot.
A south-facing oversized tiled back porch is an outdoor space to view the local mountain range while surrounded by the garden featuring the scent of lavender.
Hanami Place acknowledges the land on which the residency is located and that sovereignty was never ceded. We pay respects to the Dabee Tribe of the Wiradjuri people, to their elders, and to generations past, present and emerging.
